HUBUNGAN PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM USAHA KESEHATAN SEKOLAH TERHADAP PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT PADA MURID KELAS V SD NEGERI NO 125538 KOTA PEMATANGSIANTAR

Abstract

School Health Unit is a public health effort that is run in schools with students and their living environment as the main target. The UKS activities include the preventive, curative, promotive and rehabilitative. PHBS is an attempt to provide a learning experience or creating a condition for individuals, families, groups and communities, by providing information and education to improve the knowledge, attitudes and behavior, in order to implement ways of healthy living, in order to establish, maintain and improve health. The research objective was to determine the relationship of UKS program implementation towards a clean and healthy living habits for the students of fourth grade Elementary School No 123358 P.Siantar city. The design study is the correlation, aims to identify the relationship of the program's implementation UKS clean and healthy living habits in Elementary School No 123358 P.Siantar city. Total sample of 65 people with a total sampling method, the number of 39 item questionnaire with statistical data processing chi square test. The survey results revealed that respondents who have good UKS is as much as 52.3% and which has a good PHBS as much as 50.8% with a p value of 0.001 <0.05, it indicates that there is a relationship UKS Implementation and Clean Living Healthy Habits Disciples elementary School fourth grade elementary School No 123358 P.Siantar city. Suggested for educational institutions and health officials to pay more attention to the implementation of the UKS program and a clean and healthy living habits for elementary school students.
